Bullseye

Pare să fie firma producătoare.

Smokeless pistol powder
Billions of rounds have been loaded with Bullseye since it was introduced in 1913.

„Bullseye isn't what you would call an especially clean powder, but considering that it's over 100 years old, it's not bad. What you're probably getting is a combination of the Bullseye and bullet lube.

For a cleaner powder in the same range as Bullseye, you might try Hodgdon's Clays.”

Bullseye (shooting competition), a shooting sport, in which participants shoot handguns at paper targets at fixed distances and time limits

Meanwhile, in Haskell, New Jersey, the L&R (Laflin & Rand) Powder Company was working on their new smokeless powder designed specifically for black powder cartridges. In 1897, they introduced Sharpshooter. It was a "dense" type powder in the form of round black colored discs intended to work at pressures from as low as 10,000 p.s.i. up to about 25,000 p.s.i. This was a much lower working pressure range than the other "dense" smokeless powders (30,000 to 50,000 p.s.i.) in existence at that time.

Two other "dense" smokeless powders developed by L&R* during this same period are still in production today at Alliant Powder Co. Bullseye was introduced in 1898 as a revolver cartridge propellant. A short time later, Unique appeared on the shooting scene. [...] Bullseye & Unique are both classic powders, having achieved Centenarian status. At 100+ years old, they are the oldest American powders still in exsistence today.
