Piriton Syrup provides 2mg in 5ml of the active ingredient chlorpheniramine maleate. To make it taste nicer and have a longer shelf life it also contains sugar, glycerol, alcohol, tingle flavour, peppermint oil, water and, as preservative, a mixture of methyl, ethyl and propyl para-hydroxybenzoates. Each bottle contains 150ml of syrup.
