This - as cchat comments - is not "classics", as will be clear if you realise that it can be rephrased as "examens classiques de fin d'études".

En fait, seulement quinze candidats haïtiens se sont inscrits au programme cette année. Neuf d'entre eux, recommandés par les secteurs public et privé du pays, ont réussi à être sélectionnés parmi d'autres internationaux. Les critères de sélection étaient axés principalement sur la compétence des postulants, leur connaissance de l'anglais et les résultats des examens de fin d'études classiques.
« C'est en fonction de leur qualité, leur maîtrise de l'anglais, leur note aux examens de Baccalauréat ou à l'université, le concours de dissertation, la recommandation de leur service que les postulants bénéficient du programme », explique M. Yang Cheng-Ta, qui se dit satisfait jusqu'à présent du comportement des boursiers haïtiens à Taiwan. « Jusqu'à présent, tous les boursiers haïtiens qui ont étudié là-bas sont revenus servir leur pays. Je suis très content de cela », dit-il.

La Commission for Investigation of Abuse and autority, la C.I.A.A., demande au gouvernement que les questions des épreuves du School Leaving Certificate, le S.L.C. – qui est l’examen de fin d’études classiques, celui qui précède l’entrée au Collège, dans une Université, des écoles spécialisées - soient imprimées au Népal et non en Inde comme cela se fait actuellement. Cette mesure avait pour but d’éviter la corruption. No comment !
