The fund invests in special situation stocks such as companies that might be takeover bids or so-called ***transformation stocks***, especially those undergoing restructuring or healthy companies which are changing direction. This twin source of performance helps the fund cope with all market phases and perform in a relatively uncorrelated manner. As the fund has no investment style, sector or capitalisation bias, it represents a core portfolio holding.
