Aus einer Adoptionsurkunde:
The child may have shares in Native corporation stock.
The Petitioners, as custodians of the child, shall be deemed custodians of the child's Native corporation stock.
Petitioners' plans are to use those funds for the child's education or other needs.

Das betreffende Kind stammt aus Alaska und gehörte dort ursprünglich einem Einheimischenstamm an (nur mütterlicherseits). Es scheint aus sehr ärmlichen Verhältnisssen zu kommen, sodass mir nicht ganz klar ist, wo diese Anteile herkommen sollen, und ich vermute, es sind vielleicht Anteile, die den Ureinwohnern dort irgendwie zustehen.

Kennt sich jemand damit aus?
