Charles mentions *fitted kitchens*, which I think is a very valid alternative, and more common in usage. Any difference? Well perhaps a built-in kitchen might have some brick or tiling work involved, whereas fitted is only fitting the units, but I think the distinction is not necessary.

Comment: "Thanks a lot for your contribution! I was actually looking for the term designating kitchens built using bricks, and "built-in kitchen" seems to work perfectly! These are usually quite rustic-looking. I have done some more research on my own, and "country style kitchen" also fits the room I wanted to describe, apparently."
