Member Executive Director
If SA is a (public) corporation/company, then it does not have partners, even if a (AE) closed corporation or (BE) close family company.
It has share/stockholders and directors who may not be members or may be e.g. by holding qualification shares (stocks guaranteeing due performance and dicharge of office).
A company can be considered a partnership with partners in limited cases only e.g. where effectively and autocratically run as a partnership. See the UK case of Ebrahimi vs. Westbourne Galleries Ltd. (1973).
Shareholders and directors have two completely different roles in a company. The shareholders (also called members) own the company and the directors manage it. Unless the articles say so (and most do not) a director does not need to be a shareholder.
An inside director who is employed as a manager or executive of the organization is sometimes referred to as an executive director (not to be confused with the title executive director sometimes used for the CEO position).
