: "Floating" would be okay for commercial bla-bla; if not "a microcosm of innovation" alone is nice.

Given the context, this is as good an answer as any...

: The problem is that the ship is host to a sort of interactive technology exhibition ; the ship itself is 50 years old. In the ASker's context I think the vessel itself is highly innovative.

Thanks, Nikki. I was looking for a solution that is different from "concentrate" and perhaps more interesting.

essence of innovation
I think it captures the meaning of concentré and is fitting for a picture title.

bristling with innovation
If it's a title, it needs to be short. The idea is that this ship represents the state of the art

"You've got to hand it to the Germans. In addition to their legendary train timetables, this nation of engineers is **bristling with clever innovations**. At a recent Bayer company briefing I was exposed to a whole bunch. Here are my six faves."
Also an advert for an electric toothbrush - ha ha.

: Sounds good for crowds or population but seems odd for a vessel. (I almost suggested overflowing with -" but thought it too corny.// ;-) It's happened before Chris! Just can't get into the idea of a ship "bristling".

Doesn't seem odd to me, After all, naval vessels are always "bristling" with guns, so why not innovation? For once, Nikki, I cannot agree with you..!

: Quite like this one too. Although if it's nuclear powered, it could be corny depending on the context.

overflowing with innovation to the bursting point ...

: Maybe "bursting" and "overflowing" are unfortunate terms in the context of a seagoing vessel...

a seagoing vessel? more likely a spaceship, some kind of satellite (context info: Tech/Engineering - Aerospace / Aviation / Space)

Thank you for your suggestions. Actually i couldn't post more context on this one, since I only hve this caption and everything the ship in question is confidential so I couldn't post anything more.
I am sorry about that! This is a great help. Chris your inspiration has no limits!
