Should you be unfamiliar with the tem , it is defined as a" sistema de comunicación entre excursionistas para valorar y expresar las exigencias técnicas y físicas de los recorridos. Su objetivo es unificar las apreciaciones sobre la dificultad de las excursiones para permitir a cada practicante una mejor elección.

= "entorno". If you want/need to avoid repeating "environment", this could be useful.
Thus, "Medio. Severidad del medio natural" could be "Environment: Hostility of the natural surroundings" or "Surroundings: Severity of the natural environment".
