La "shore line" est le câble qui permet de relier un bateau au réseau électrique lorsqu'il est au port. Par extension, le terme est utilisé pour décrire la connexion d'un camping-car (ou d'une ambulance :) ) au réseau, lorsqu'il est à l'arrêt.
