From a sales standpoint, I certainly would find it awkward to say things like "The purpose of this proposal is to sell..." The whole phrase is "O objeto da presente proposta é a venda dos equipamentos:" (followed by a list of items for sales) and I am looking for English translation suggestions other than "This is a sales proposal for the following equipment:". Any help appreciated!
