Spanish term

compra por adhesión

Spanish to English Marketing Education / Pedagogy
Subject: text part of marketing course for companies/entrepreneurs; Branding
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I don't know if I understand "por adhesión" correctly. Here goes the text:

"La relación psicosocial y generadora de emociones con las marcas provoca una compra por adhesión."

This text is part of a list of different factors making people approach the brands and establish a link with them. Here is my try:

"The psychosocial relationship and emotional trigger with the brands that customers to buy the product due to loyalty."

Seth I'm not clear about the wider context, but it sounds like a list of suggestions or instructions. So you could say something like "Create emotional links with the brand, so that people buy the products out of loyalty." "Psychosocial" does exist, but it's not a word you see very often and it might look like a translation.

purchase based on loyalty

This would be my take. I think loyalty is the way to go here.

agree Alejandro Alcaraz Sintes : Eso es: "loyalty". // ¿Quizás "emotional loyalty"? Ejemplo: The thing is, today's consumers are all looking to make purchases based on emotional loyalty. (http://customerthink.com/welcome_to_emotional_loyalty/)
