Someone said that most favorite is incorrect.

So, is "One of the favorite landing zones for migratory birds" ok?

Or "One of the greatest landing zones for migratory birds" better?

Thank you.

I'm not sure it's necessarily always bad English. -
B D Finch May 27, 2014:
@Cilian My 10 favourite films are A, B, C...; but the one I like best of all is ...

"Most favourite" might be used by children, but it is not good English.
Cilian O'Tuama May 26, 2014:
Am not sure "most favourite" must be wrong. My 10 favourite films are A, B, C...
But my most favourite is...
B D Finch May 21, 2014:
Superlative "Most favourite" is grammatically wrong because "favourite" is already a superlative. While "greatest" seems grammatically OK, it just sounds wrong, probably because it is unclear whether it would refer to size or quality. "One of the paradises in the country" is unlikely to have been written by a native speaker of English.
Lincoln Hui May 21, 2014:
"Most favorite" is largely meaningless like "most biggest". You can, however, say "most favored", although it probably doesn't work well in this context.

agree Edith Kelly : and if for UK, favourite

agree Armorel Young : "favorite" already means "most preferred", so you can't add "most" to it (although you can have "least favorite")
