Der ganze Satz lautet so und ist Teil eines Subtitling Jobs (Ansprache eines CEO, an die Mitarbeiter gerichtet, und zwar nach Fusionierung mit einem anderen Unternehmen):

Ich verstehe, dass er mit Footprint meint, dass durch den Zusammenschluss im Industriebereich groesserer Einfluss moeglich ist, um seine "Spuren zu hinterlassen", da mehr Marktpraesenz etc., aber wie uebersetze ich manufacturing footprint und customer footprint, ohne zu weit weg vom O-Text zu gehen?
Danke schon mal im Voraus. Manchmal gehen mir echt die Ideen aus.....
