May I...? Without seing more of the original context or a picture of the product, Cedomir, this would be my GUESS. Please, be cautious. ;-)

From your reference text I interpret that it refers to garments rather than to bedding linen (appologies to Helena if I'm wrong). This I infer from the "camiseta look" that they say they want to give to this other product they are talking about. So my understanding is that to achieve this "young" (T-shirt-like?) look, they add AOP printing to a flat woven fabric garment so that it would resemble KNIT fabric design (typical t-shirt material).

Again: this is BOLD guessing on my side. With my best intention, please accept my apologies if I missed the target.

Good luck!
Alright, Helena :-) Now I see it -- thanks!
Helena Chavarria Jul 10, 2014:
Ropa plana is 'flatwork items': hotel and hospital linen.
Cedomir Pusica (asker) Jul 10, 2014:
It's "plana"... the word "plana" is repeated in other instances as well.
There seems to be a typo here. Cedomir, could it be 'pana' (corduroy)? Otherwise 'plana' (adj. meaning 'flat') doesn't make any sense. Rgds.

plain weave garment

I think they are referring to the type of weave. Here is a link explaining it in Spanish. https://elrincondecelestecielo.blogspot.com.es/2012/09/algun...
Example sentence:

Poplin, sometimes called broadcloth, is a plain weave which means the threads alternately cross over and then under each other.
