evaporate to dryness
e.g. The ...3 ml in the column ...should be evaporated to dryness and ...re-suspended in ...HCl. I have done these sort of procedures in the lab my former life as a researcher in the US) and it would not be specific enough to write concentrate given the following step of re-suspending in HCl (ricostituito).
Example sentence:
