Circumlocution is possibly not strictly accurate, but it might convey the meaning.
The technical ´reification´ is not much help, I suspect!
An expression like ´long, wordy sentences´ shifts the register and might make the point that fancy Latin is partly what you are trying to avoid.
It might also get round the fact that the particular structures in Norwegian might not be the same as in English, but the general principle certainly is.
