Discussion

Wendy Streitparth Oct 16, 2015:
What heading does it come under? Entrées, salads or what?
Wendy Streitparth Oct 16, 2015:
A synonym of consistenza can be "con abbondanza", so maybe it is a "generous portion" and I don't think misticanza can mean salad leaves because then it wouldn't mention rucola separately.
Shera Lyn Parpia Oct 16, 2015:
misticanza is usually a mixture of tender salad leaves - you might want to say that.
Therese Marshall (asker) Oct 16, 2015:
@Shera Lyn Unfortunately Shera I have absolutely no idea. It's only mentioned once in the text and I only have this to go on....I'm going to go for mixed salad I think...
Shera Lyn Parpia Oct 16, 2015:
are you sure there is no mistake?
I think it might well be "Consistente di misticanza.... "
What are they talking about? a mixed salad?

mixed salad with

I guess it means that the main ingredient or the basis of the dish is "misticanza" (= tender mixed salad), and that the other ingredients are added to it. It's a weird way of saying it though...
