thanks! to all Many thanks to all for replying and for your suggestions, which were all very helpful. My apologies for not providing more context. I came across this in an otherwise non-specialist translation with a tight deadline, and initially saw 'version équipée' as a stand-alone phrase. After further examination it became clear that the text was referring to the incorporation of a particular software platform into a new version of an existing information system. In this context I thought that equipped was the best suggestion so went with ' It is the only version equipped with the software platform'.

Context? Do you have a little more context please? What is said just before this quote - i.e. what is the "version" referred to?
