Scale Calibration

This section allows to make the calibration of the scale using 3 methods:

Method 1: Set the theoretical values
For an initial raw calibration, the theoretical values can be set by writing in the Scale Range the sum of the nominal weight of the load cells and then pressing the Reset Calibration button. The Calibration Factor is calculated accordingly. This method is used to initialize the scale and should not be used for scale calibration.

Method 2: calibration with ***sample weights***
The calibration is executed in two steps.

Phase 1: empty the scale and press the Tara button to acquire the empty scale value; the scale weight becomes zero.

Phase 2: put on the scale a quantity of sample weights in order to reach at least the 50% of the used scale range. Write this value in the Sample Weight and then press the Calibrate button. The Calibration Factor is calculated accordingly. Check the scale at different load values. Take note of the Calibration Factor value
