Mañana es viernes vs Mañana será viernes

Para mi ambas oraciones están bien aunque tengo duda si el verbo "ser" para indicar el día siguiente debe usarse en presente o futuro y por qué. Gracias.

Hoy es lunes, ayer fue domingo mañana será martes

vs

Hoy es lunes, ayer fue domingo mañana es martes

In English we use both too. Tomorrow will be.... and Tomorrow is. But which one is correct and why.

correlación temporal El presente se usa con valor de futuro, pero en tu oración hay que tener en cuenta que hay tres proposiciones en correlaión temporal y con adverbios de tiempo. Por tanto, creo que la más adecuada es la segunda: Hoy es lunes, ayer fue domingo, mañana será martes.

I'd say both. In Italian the simple present works to indicate present and future actions, with no difference in meaning, being both forms grammatically correct.

Both are correct, surely? "will be" could be more speculative, as a way of taking stock of days with certain tasks attached to the days; as far as I can see, both are correct in both languages; the present tense " tomorrow is Tuesday", is more common, I'd suggest;
