4 Place the first machine section on the floor and
ensure that the tin line and start point are in line
with the trackwork markings, these should be
marked on the floor. When this is achieved
roughly level the section.
5 Place the next section in line with the first section, ensure that the feet are ***wound up*** to the base and
place the section on greased plates (this will enable the section to be easily moved into position).
6 Place the floor tread plates (illustration refers)
between the two sections BEFORE pulling the
sections together.
Where one section meets another a piece of tread
plate is required to cover the joint.
