...In the next processing unit, cutters are used to trim the paper to the required width. In the adjacent sleeve bunker/magazine, sleeves lie ready in the appropriate length to accommodate the material. Grippers transfer the sleeves from the magazine into the triple turret winder, where they are picked up by a winding shaft. The short roll winding machine then rotates into the take-up position. The paper is ready waiting, trimmed to the required width: rotating pressure rollers push it into the take-up sleeve, the winding process begins.
