72ff cut-out Arabic muhaqqaq script, mounted under thin paper to create embossed apperance, decorative boarders to first 2f using similar technique, some scattered browning and water-staining, leaves mounted on stubs, contemporary leather over boards with flap, decorative roundels with central six-pointed star motif to upper & lower covers and flap, blind stamped and gilt, spine rubbed, lightly scuffed, 4to (c.310 x 230mm), [Ottoman / Qajar Persia], n.d. [19th cent]. Excellent example of decoupage Qur'an.
