Blindados

Finanzas (general)
Hi, just wondering if anyone could help out with the following.
I'm translation a series of credit agreements between banks and an insurance company. In a chart of the "existing guarantees" between borrower and lender, there are the encumbered assets. In Spanish, one of them just say "blindados" (no further context - one line with "blindados". And neither is it used at any other point in the 32,000 words of the document!). I'm not sure what it's referring to, or how to translate it. I've used "protected" here, but I feel that something is missing.... Protected assets? Or something else? The original Spanish and my English translation are:
Activo gravado > Encumbered asset
Terrenos y construcciones > Land and buildings
Instalaciones técnicas y maquinaria > Plant and machinery
Otras instalaciones y mobiliario > Other fixtures and furniture
Blindados > Protected????
Total
Many thanks!

español term (edited):
(ESP + MEX) Blindados
(Bank's) Armoured vehicles
Activo gravado > assets charged perhaps.
Perhaps referring to the bank's armoured vehicles.
I wonder: if this is really Palma de M./Spain - security stepped up around Plaza Gomila or the shark-infested waters of Porto Pi - or Mexico etc.

a) armo(u)red vehicles are expensive these days: https://megaricos.com/tag/vehiculos-blindados/ so merit a separate section and b) must be included in any security systems package for that amount.
The shark may have been towed to sea twice by the guardia civil and, last time, with a marine biologist, but I fully intend to return to the Porto Pi marina restaurant one day or night (no doubt, to be ripped off with my English cronies de novo by the double-charging shark waiters, as in the 'Swinging Sixties').

The only other 'protected-assets' line I went down was 'ringfencings', namely what valuable items out of the above headers are 'ringfenced'.

Example sentence:
Renta de camionetas y automoviles blindados en Mexico.

Note from asker:
Thanks for your suggestion, but would they a) put a specific section in a very short list for armoured vehicles? and b) the amount is 17 million euros, which is actually the highest amount on the whole list! That's why I was going down the "protected assets" front..... BTW, the shark is no more!! |

: I think this is very unlikely. Banks don't own armoured vehicles.

assets put on a lien
The lien guarantees that the return on the asset -owned by the borrower- put on a lien can pay back the loan extended to the borrower by the lender. The attachment below provides all the specifics.

encumbered asset
Definition
Property owned by one party but subject to the legal claims of another party.
My translation is consistent with the financial definition of an 'encumbered asset':

: lien and guaranty/security (sûretés) are encumbrances and this item is already mentioned (activo gravado)

Shield
Without the context it is impossible to be 100% certain. From my experience "shield" is used far more often than "protected". Whilst the two are very much alike (ideologically at least), I believe "protected" conveys a different legal connotation that is not suitable for a credit arrangement than that conveyed by "shield".
