The relationship between Ribbon Solid Fraction (RSF), amount of lactose monohydrate in the formulation, and % fines is shown in the surface plot in Figure P.2-4. Fines (%) were reduced with increasing RSF and were found to be insensitive to the amount of lactose monohydrate present over the ranges studied.
