As mentioned above, for 2” and above piping the prefabrication ratio in process areas, is planned to be not less than 70%. This means for all on plot isometric drawings, 70% of the welds shall be done in the prefabrication shop, 30% in the field, partly on the ground and only the essential portion in erection. Preferably, the spools will be also assembled in modules reducing further the 30% of field welds. For interconnecting piping same concept will apply with different percentage, maximizing the *ground or position double joints concept*.
