Co znaczy PI w poniższym kontekście: nie jestem pewna, czy dobrze rozszyfrowałam PI. Celuję w kod choroby (present illness), ale może też być "package insert".
I am calling in a prescription for a Nora Green. Yes, no ‘E’. DOB: 2/2/1998. Mm-hm. Yes, I’m calling in for Vosperdal. Point 25 milligrams. Sig one tablet PO / BIO, distribute 60 plus one refill. DEA: B47-58491 and PI: 13663.
Dzięki!

A doctor in the USA calling in a prescription uses a unique identification number. Presently, it is a ten-digit number. However, this text is not exact in many respects.

A National Provider Identifier or NPI is a unique 10-digit identification number issued to health care providers in the United States by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The NPI has replaced the unique physician identification number (UPIN) as the required identifier for Medicare services, and is used by other payers, including commercial healthcare insurers. The transition to the NPI was mandated as part of the Administrative Simplifications portion of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), and CMS began issuing NPIs in October 2006.[1]

: Frank, mimo tego, że tam nie ma 10 cyfr, to - jak piszesz - kiedyś mogło być inaczej. I chyba Twoje wyjaśnienie jest najbardziej logiczne, biorąc pod uwagę jeszcze wzór recepty.

http://www.gammagard.com/primary-immunodeficiency/pdf/Gammag... I tam w sekcji E jest DEA# i NPI#. - dotyczą lekarza wypisującego receptę..
