Encontré en el diccionario bilingüe Simon & Schuster que District of Columbia (comúnmente llamado D.C. y el cual se refiere a la capital de Estados Unidos de América) se traduce como "Distrito Federal" o D.F.
Mi consulta se refiere a cuál es la traducción acostumbrada o usual cuando se hacen traducciones del inglés al español, con esto me refiero a las traducciones juradas, certificadas o las que surten efectos legales en los países de habla hispana.

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.
When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.
* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.
