[site/job] reassignment

I may have taken this from the same dictionary as Toby (the Enrique Alcaraz Dictionary of Legal Terms), but mine also mentions "earmark for another use".

reassignment
1[mass noun] The allocation or distribution of work or resources in a different way:
‘reassignment of staff duties’
‘her home feels spacious because of the clever reassignment of storage’
1.1 Appointment to a different post or role:
‘employees were offered reassignment or early retirement’
[count noun] ‘an officer could request a reassignment’

If you are currently assigned to a task that should be assigned to another team member, you can reassign that task in Microsoft Office Project Web Access. The task reassignment does not need to be approved by the project manager before it is available to be added to the team member's timesheet and task status.
