In Spain, and is quite common to find people who "don't drink" per se, but who will have a "cafe tocado", which means coffee with a dash of spirit.
I used to enjoy "carajillo", which by the way was only recently introduced into the DRAE lexicon. My favourite was dark rum with a dash of Tia Maria. However those days are gone and I have to make do with Nescafe nowadays :)

More or less the same as Ana's answer, although I don't agree with "shot drinker", which I understand as (usually young) people doing rows of tequila and similar spirits, rather than little dash of whisky in their coffee.

It's similar to an Irish coffee, although if you use that expression, you'd have to take care to avoid confusion that the patient might be Irish :-)
