Spanish term

pase de vincularse a la competitividad para ganar en compartició

moving away from competitiveness to become more sharing and pervasive.

Just another option that intends to keep a little the vagueness inherent in the word transversalidad...

should become less linked to competitiveness in order to gain in sharing

"In short, it means that knowledge and ...".

That's one translation option. It doesn't mean I agree with it or like it. But that's what it says IMHO. I haven't approached "transversalidad", which I find pretty meaningless and extremely hard to translate comfortably. "Across-the-boardness" might be one option but it sounds ridiculous...

NB: IMHO, "transversality" should be left in the realm of mathematics where it belongs:

However, I understand that in present-day sociology/education, the buzzword is King (or Queen, or gender-confused bumpkin, depending on your stance), so I suppose I'm fighting a losing battle.
Example sentence:

The term “transversal skills” has lately become more and more frequently used within educational systems in Europe

Note from asker:
Gracias, creo que el término para transversalidad es transversality http://aeraqrsig.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/Principles-of-Transversality-in-Globalisation-and-EducationI.pdf

In sum, what is called for is an approach in which knowledge becomes progressively unyoked from competitiveness, and is instead animated by a spirit of sharing and multidisciplinary cooperation.

A mi modo de ver, “pase de vincularse” se refiere a un *proceso*, el fin del cual es el desiderátum de “compartición y transfersalidad”.
