: but 'officiel' is in quotes and s'empresser isn't a formal expression. It's true we don't have enough visible context to who is actually involved in the correspondence

: the split verb construction here sounds very clumsy; "herewith" should be omitted and is not really necessary anyway; anyway, in this context "y" would translate to "thereto" or "to your letter" not "herewith"
