Spanish term

aciertos

Spanish to English Bus/Financial Finance (general) Financial transactions monitoring system - Argentina
This word appears a lot in this document and I'm trying to figure out how to word it, here are a few the many places it appears:

As you can see this document goes into the prevention of terrorism and money laundering operations and aciertos/acierto is used a lot in that context as well in this case.

Thanks for the help...

Another idea...
Although the word "hit" keeps coming to mind, as in "search hits", so you could have "search mechanism and hits".
It won't work for "alto grado de acierto" though, which is why I'd tend to go with "match" instead.

guesses

Hola Manuel,

Although Robert´s answer is a proper one and wouldn´t be wrong, I think that in database terminology the term used is "guesses", coming from the terminology in statistics and probability, same like in Spanish we use "aciertos" coming from the same language fields.

The reason for this is that the process that the database uses to find a match is analogous to the one we use in statistics to find a result.

Hope this helps.

¡Saludos!
