Can anyone translate parc a rejets in English? Thank you

spoil ground
This is a term that is certainly used, but I don't have any confirmation that it refers to precisely the same thing. In general that which is throw out when mining / quarrying is referred to as 'spoil' (cf. 'spoil heap') — 'spoil dump' is another term that is also used.

French term (edited):
parc a rejets
tailings pond
wikipedia gives this definition: "Tailing ponds are areas of refused mining tailings where the waterborne refuse material is pumped into a pond to allow the sedimentation (meaning separation) of solids from the water. The pond is generally impounded with a dam, and known as tailings impoundments or tailings dams."
I obviously wouldn't go only on wikipedia, but there do seem to be a lot of examples online which seem to tally with what you need:

: Although that term is certainly used, I'm not sure it's quite what is meant here, since a 'parc' hardly suggests a 'pond', which would be more like a 'bassin de décantation', for example.

: tailings pond implies that the project has moved on to the ore treatment stage, which is not suggested in the text, in my opinion

: Agree with congillen's and Tony's comments above. Not a pond and too early in the project for "tailings".
