the explanation is there - just before - all is needed is to analyse it correctly:
"congruent" transaction : what we have ordered from our suppliers is "congruent" [i.e corresponds] to what our buyers have ordered from us - these two orders mirror each other - are the same but shifted one step along the supply chain - are paired [one exists because of the other - we made an ordered from our supplier only because of the order we received] - etc
"covering" transaction: our transaction with our suppliers was initiated in order to "cover" [=deliver] another linked/paired transaction - the corresponding order from our clients.
The company giving these terms and conditions is simply a "middleman" - washing its hands for selecting an unreliable supplier ...

FR Congru = Vx et usité presque uniquement dans des syntagmes figés. Qui convient exactement. Phrase, réponse congrue. (J'hésiterais à utiliser "contre-commande congru" ou "transactions congrues" parce que "convenir exactement" n'est pas "exactement conformes")
