Yes but based on the below example:
[When a girl adds "P.S: I love you." and then adds "P.P.S.: I miss you." on the bottom of a letter.]
After all, the purpose of translation is to convey message between languages, if you put acronym of catatan tambahan lanjut namely "c.t.l" - who will understand?
However, this might not be applicable for formal letters hence please take it at face value.
