French term

exposition indicielle acheteuse

French to English Bus/Financial Investment / Securities Equity report
I'm translating an equity report for an asset-management company from French (France) to English (United Kingdom) and am having trouble with a phrase. Please find it below in a full sentence to give you full context:

'Par la suite, le sentiment global des investisseurs s'est inversé, et le Fonds a ajusté son exposition indicielle acheteuse dans le sillage du rebond des marchés actions.'

I was thinking along the lines of 'long indexed exposure'. Would that be the most appropriate choice?

Many thanks!

neutral philgoddard : I think this is probably right, but you should explain why it's "long".

A "position acheteuse" is a long position. Ditto for exposure. That's something you either know or you don't.
