English term

Warning

English to French Other Medical: Instruments Warning
Hi all French speakers!

today's question is what term do you visualize on warning messages on a user interface, I mean the title of the warning window itself.
In English I can see warning...what a French would select between "Avertissement" or "Alerte" or "Alarme"?

Thank you very much.

@ Asker OK, then that's really VITAL extra context! Your question term would have been more meaningful as 'warning message' in that case.

warning message is : standard operating procedure not found

it depends What sort of warnings does the interface display?

attention !

As David H. points out, it depends entirely on how the term is being used; but this is a term I come across over and over again in things like user manuals, or on actual stickers on pieces of equipment.

OK, well in the light of your belated extra context, this obviously would no longer be applicabel.
But I'll leave my suggestion posted, as it might possibly be of help to future users.
