@ Michelangela I doubt about. "gear wheel shaft adapter" may either been understood as the gear wheel with a hollow shaft is mounted to the wheel adapter. The inverse situation is also possible. The gear wheel has no adapter and is mounted to the shaft flange/adapter. The main term is "Aufnahme" (für das Zahnrad). So is ambiguously and maybe overtranslated. It is sufficient to translate it literally by seat/adapter/stub shaft for gear wheel, the way I proposed.
