English term

Principal (in an Order Gathering Agreement)

Soliciting orders with customers;
Orders forwarded to Principal for approval;
Once Principal approves the orders, it is further communicated to customers;
Products are shipped by Principal to customers;
Invoice issued by Principal to customers;
Invoice raised by Company XYZ to Principal.

Będę wdzięczna za pomoc!

@ Frank Yes, you are right 'Principal is rather unusual in this context but we have come across this phenomenon in other translations. I understood from your answer that you also used 'specjalista ds. zamówień' 'procurement or acquisition specialist' this would also work but would this person not be a contractor? What I have seen is that sometimes contracts or T&C do not mention both parties and therefore you can away with only mentioning one. Cheers and good luck :)

@Stuart and Aida: Principal is rather unusual in this context. Here it is someone who solicits orders and manages the ordering process from beginning to the end. I thought that something broad and neutral might be best under the circumstances.

Order gathering? is a bit unusual in English, I would say 'acquisition agreement'. The person who acquires orders for a client. Acquirer is what you need here :). Although, 'acquirer' is not normally used in this context. Acquirer is normally used in the context of merging companies, banks, etc.

Contractee - Contractor I don't understand Polish and was just so naughty to use Google translate to understand your question but because we have come across 'principals and clients' or 'Auftraggeber and Auftragnehmer' in our translations, I became interested in your question. Another option you could explore would be contractee or contractor. I hope this helps, cheers, Aida

A to nie jest po prostu zleceniodawca? Rozumiem, że principal zleca to order gathering, company to wykonuje na jego zlecenie?
