Ówczesny opór i upór Virchowa i jemu podobnych przed faktami kosztował setki i tysiące istnień ludzkich.
Patrzy dyskusja do pytania o "union".
Powstrzymałbym się od prób wyjaśniania fragmentu "S509: 1895". Uzasadnienie:
1. mogę się założyć, że nikt z czytelników tłumaczenia nie będzie zamierzał czytać oryginalnego tekstu.
