Spanish term

Distribución de los episodios laborales por tipo de entidad

Spanish to English Bus/Financial Human Resources Workplace
This refers to the periods of work when an employee is legally contracted by a company. Does anyone know how to say this in English?

distribution is a statistical concept in French as well as in English. (see this https://www.statista.com/statistics/328367/distribution-of-t...

In French, distribution is synonymous with 'répartition'.

Allocation means that there are resources that need to be allocated. This is not the case here.

@Sarah I understand re the context. It was purely so as to try to distinguish between employment periods or working hours as to my mind they express something different. Also re whether distribution or allocation(s) fits better. If employment periods suits you, am glad to have been of help. Have a great weekend.
Sarah Brenchley (asker) Jul 6, 2019:
Unfortunately there is no more context as it appears in a list. I like Domini's suggestion of "employment periods"
Domini Lucas Jul 6, 2019:
@Francois This was the sort of thing I was querying where allocation also features.

@Francois Understood if that is asker’s context and obvious to everyone else, am more than happy to stand corrected. As also could be talking of working hours rather than employment periods/periods of employment. Whereas periods of work seems ambiguous to me and less HR-like. Hence my request for context from my point of view. Totally agree re entity type though..
Domini Lucas Jul 6, 2019:
distribución Am also not 100% sure about translating this as distribution. Are you able to give a little more context?
Domini Lucas Jul 6, 2019:
employment periods/periods of employment? This seems more HR-like to me, depending on your wider context. e.g. https://hradvance.com.au/resources/the-hr-explainer/minimum-...
https://www.gov.uk/continuous-employment-what-it-is
etc. ...
