French to English Medical Medical (general) bone marrow biopsy - section levels
Deux carottes biopsiques sont remises à l'examen mesurant chacune 5 mm, comportant 6 et 5 espaces médullaires, et étudiées sur 4 niveaux de coupe **(AA)**.

I understand everything except the abbreviation, 'AA.' Any help will be welcome, thank you.

Thank you Thank you everybody. I found my answer further down in the document - indeed it seems like a reference to some other document called "AA" "AB" etc. I will close without grading now.
