reprise

French to English Bus/Financial Finance (general) BSA et BCE
Context :
"Lors de cette même réunion 14 340 BSA émises et attribuées par acte sous seing privé constatant les décisions collectives adoptées à l'unanimité par les associés de PHARMCO en date du 23 décembre 2015, dont la reprise par la Société a été approuvée par le Conseil d'administration lors de sa réunion en date du 25 septembre 2018."

takeover

The source text is not very clear without further context. My understanding is that the board of director of the "société" approved the "reprise" [takeover] of PHARMCO during its meeting of September 25, 2016.

See http://gdt.oqlf.gouv.qc.ca/ficheOqlf.aspx?Id_Fiche=26543572 for "reprise" in this context.

(re-)adoption

Pehaps use re-adoption to avoid an 'adopted double-up': les décisions collectives *adoptées* à l'unanimité par les associés.

Otherwise, scour the glossaries for fitting and befitting permutations & combinations, mindful always with that weasel-word that 1. 'write-back' is oten the right accounting term 2. 'incorporation' of docs. often works for contract and Wills and 3. take-over in a coporate context.
Example sentence:

Delegation of powers to formalize, register and execute the resolutions adopted by the General Shareholders' Meeting and register the filing of the financial statements

Peer comment(s):

agree AllegroTrans : Plain adoption - nothing here suggests double adoption

Thanks - the preceding phrase of 'adoptées à l'unanimité' was the source of my doube-up doubt.

confirmation

According to my Collins dictionary, "reprise" means "resumption", "recovery", "repeat", "rerun", "round" (in a boxing match), "acceleration", "trade-in, part exchange", "darn", "mend". Two examples are given: la reprise des hostilitées = the resumption of hostilities; a plusieurs reprises = on several occasions, several times. I suppose it could mean "taking back" as in "recovery", but I don't see how it could mean "takeover".
My understanding is that the confirmation by the company (PHARMCO) of the collective decisions of the associates (shareholders?) was approved by the board (conseil d'administration) on 25 September 2018. I'm assuming that "dont" refers to "les décisions collectives adoptées à l'unanimité par les associés de PHARMCO".
