Discussion

Chris Pr Oct 17, 2019:
Smoke emission... ...is a direct copy/paste from my own explanation.
A "substantive difference" is the requirement cited in Kudoz rules.
Chris Pr Oct 16, 2019:
Point taken... :)
writeaway Oct 16, 2019:
A different prefix = a different term
Chris Pr Oct 16, 2019:
One term with three differing prefixes....?
writeaway Oct 16, 2019:
please post the remaining terms as separate questions
Site Rule

2.1 One term is allowed per question.
Including multiple terms for translation in a single KudoZ posting interferes with the process of generating glossary entries.

Read the title line
Chris Pr Oct 16, 2019:
Fashion...? ...as in "slow-burning, low-smoking supermodels..."? :)
Ramey Rieger (X) Oct 16, 2019:
Hi Paul! How about some surrounding context? Fashion? Is the text on fire-retardants?

smoke emission level: normal

Have a look at the different standards, perhaps one of them could help.
E.g., "smoke emission level: normal" or "smoke propagation: normal"

EU standards: https://www.peroni.com/lang_UK/_download/EN_Reaction_to_Fire...

Note from asker:
I seem to have got it in the neck from one group for providing "zero context" (despite clearly providing the field this falls under) and from another group for asking three questions! Both groups cannot be right!
Peer comment(s):

neutral writeaway : Why rush in with an answer with 00 context? and the rule is one term per question

The context is clearly flammability legislation or product labeling.....
disagree Kartik Isaac : I completely agree with writeaway with regards to the the way you post answers and comments here ;)

Duplicating my answers is against Kudoz rules - simple as that. :)
