Spanish term

Muestra perneado osmosis

Spanish to English Tech/Engineering Other
This has to do with the process of measuring the hardness of water. I'm including a lot of context so that you can see what is included with this water hardness analysis kit. If you look at the 0-3º F range kit below, you will see that the term is one of the items included in the kit.

Context:

OBJETO

a)) 0 a 30º F
b)) 0 a 3 ºF.

Donovan Libring (asker) Oct 18, 2019:
Probably, can you propose an answer knowing that?
Helena Chavarria Oct 18, 2019:
I think the term is 'perMeado'.

Reverse Osmosis

How does Reverse Osmosis work?
Reverse Osmosis works by using a high pressure pump to increase the pressure on the salt side of the RO and force the water across the semi-permeable RO membrane, leaving almost all (around 95% to 99%) of dissolved salts behind in the reject stream. The amount of pressure required depends on the salt concentration of the feed water. The more concentrated the feed water, the more pressure is required to overcome the osmotic pressure.

The desalinated water that is demineralized or deionized, is called permeate (or product) water. The water stream that carries the concentrated contaminants that did not pass through the RO membrane is called the reject (or concentrate) stream.

The translation would include 'permeate water sample' but I'm afraid I don't know how to fit in 'osmosis'.

I've seen 'RO permeate (water) sample'. Hopefully someone will come along who knows how to express it.

I would probably use 'RO permeate sample'. Cheers, Neil :-)
