Discussion

Steffen Walter Oct 21, 2019:
"Darmileus" ... ... is correct (read "Darm-Ileus") whereas "längslapartomie" is not. The latter should be "Längslaparotomie" (with a capital L because it's a noun, as well as the missing o inserted).

German term (edited): Darmileus mit Längslaparotomie

(intestinal) ileus with longitudinal laparotomy

See, for instance, https://www.sciencedirect.com/topics/medicine-and-dentistry/... and https://livrepository.liverpool.ac.uk/17313/4/StephensonRob_... (p. 82; "Through a longitudinal laparotomy the abdominal aorta and the renal arteries were identified, and the abdominal aorta was dissected free above the renal arteries.").
