Struggling to find this term, suspect it's blindingly obvious, but have still drawn a blank.

"Passeggiando nel centro storico di Sarnano è possibile notare dei sottopassi, formati dal un elemento di collegamento tra due abitazioni sui lati opposti di una strada. Queste costruzioni sono note come case a ponte e consistono nell’ampliamento dei piani superiori di una casa fino a unirla con quella di fronte."

The nearest I've come is "skyway", however these seem to be "corridors" connecting two buildings above street level, whereas the "bridge" in my example forms part of the house and is inhabited.
