Italian term

puntinata

Italian to English Other Medical: Pharmaceuticals Product specifications
"Compressa puntinata beige"

From the description of a brand of tablets. Not having much luck with "puntinata" - earlier in the file they used the term "marbled". Anyone have any experience with this term? Are they interchangeable? Many thanks!

@Lara I can't give the name. They're for GI issues.
Lara Barnett Feb 5, 2020:
@ Fiona What drugs are they?
Fiona Grace Peterson (asker) Feb 5, 2020:
Stippling In my TM I have "stippling" for "puntinatura", but it doesn't seem to fit here.
